Message from President
Our company “Oigawachaen Co. Ltd.” was named after Japan's most famous place for the productions of teas - the Ōi River which is a primary river prominent in Japan that flows in the central part of the Shizuoka prefecture. Condensation created by mist that rises from the river and they are beautifully harmonized. The gap between the warmness and coldness of the day and night helps tea farms surrounding the river to produce the finest tea leaves of deep and full taste.
We were hoping that more people would come to know the real tastes of tea leaves from the leading tea farms in Makinohara plateau and Kawane so we put a lot of effort in improving breeds, soil conditions, cultivation methods, and manufacturing methods. This is how we develop our products. Our tea leaves have an excellent taste, flavor, and color and those factors are what tea lovers from all over Japan have come to expect from us. It would be our pleasure, if of you are interested in tea to take a look at our website and take this as an opportunity to our knowledge, feedback and merchandise.
Business Philosophy
Our aim is to produce genuine tea products that more than meet our customers' daily needs and health demands. Our products must provide peaceful and relaxing feelings for those who drink them.
We strive to make our tea products very tasty, reliable and stable. For our products, we pluck yabukita teas which we plucked from the Makinohara plateau, Kawane, and Shimada district. They are the most vigorous tea producing districts in Japan which is surrounded by the Ōi River that flows in the central part of Shizuoka.
Condensation generated by mist rising from the Ōi River and well the harmonized gap between the warmness and coldness of the day and night helps tea farms surrounding the Ōi River produce the highest grade tea leaves of deep and full flavor. We pluck fresh leaves with excellent tastes and flavors in this special environment and make them into our products. The excellent tea from Shizuoka have a wonderful taste and flavor. You will enjoy the freshness of our tea leaves, which will make you feel the sincerity of our tea farmers.
